If you use the contact form, you provide your name, your email address and your message. I use them only to read and reply to your message. They are delivered to my personal email inbox and are not added to any mailing list, sold, rented or used for marketing.

Before a message is sent, the site checks that your email address is correctly formatted, that its domain can receive email, and that it is not a known disposable address. These checks look up public DNS records for the domain; nothing is sent to your address.

• —Hosting and security logs: the site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and request times to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse.
• —Bot protection: when you submit the contact form, Vercel BotID analyses signals from your browser to tell people from automated scripts. It is used only to prevent spam and abuse.
• —Analytics: I use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites and does not build a profile of you.

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. It uses one strictly functional cookie, “yg-mode”, which remembers whether you chose the interactive or the classic version of the site until you close your browser. It contains nothing else and is never shared. The site also stores one small flag in your browser’s session storage so the intro animation is not replayed on every page during a visit; it is deleted when you close the tab.

• —Vercel Inc. — hosting, security, bot protection and privacy-friendly analytics.
• —Resend — delivery of contact-form messages to my inbox.
• —Google (Gmail) — my email inbox, where messages are stored.

These providers process data on my behalf and may store it in the United States or other countries.

I process contact-form data to respond to your request (your request and my legitimate interest in replying), and technical data for my legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable website.

Contact messages stay in my inbox for as long as they are useful for our correspondence, and I will delete them on request. Hosting and analytics data is kept by Vercel according to its own retention periods.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California privacy law), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. I do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

This website is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their personal information.
